Meet Colby!
Colby is a Lead Technician at ECS Geothermal, bringing over three years of official experience to his role. His connection to the company runs deep, rooted in a legacy passed down from his late father, Jim, who worked for the previous business owner. Colby has known the company his entire life, growing up on job sites with his dad and working here during summers.
Three years ago, he officially joined the team, driven by a desire to continue that legacy, and has diligently worked his way up to his current lead position. Now, he also works alongside his mother, President Julie Guffey, affectionately known as “Geo-Julie,” to help grow the business.
Colby thrives on interacting with a diverse range of clients, solving complex problems, and designing efficient, aesthetically pleasing HVAC solutions for homes. Ensuring every customer receives the best possible service is his top priority.
When he isn’t on a job site, Colby loves spending time with his wife and their new puppy. He enjoys traveling, golfing, and relaxing weekends at the lake with friends and family.
